What we do

Non-Profit

The Urban Resilience Lab (URLab) is a non-profit organization based in Barcelona, dedicated to bridging science and practice under the mandate of the Urban Resilience Research Network (URNet).

Capacity Building

The URLab organizes courses and seminars (online, hybrid and in-person)

Local Ecosystem

Its aim is to foster collaboration among organizations, institutions, stakeholders, and individuals working on resilience within the city, mapping their projects and initiatives.

Mapping

The URLab is mapping and disseminating existing projects and initiatives across Barcelona, highlighting where, how, by whom, and why resilience efforts are taking place throughout the city.

Knowledge Hub

The URLab, in collaboration with URNet, explores theoretical challenges in urban resilience by organizing “pracademic” events, hosting writing workshops, and facilitating dialogue between theory and practice.
