Joan Miro‘s rainwater storage tanks

Descend underground to discover how floods are prevented and how the water quality of Barcelona’s beaches is preserved during heavy rainfall. Storage tanks play a key role in the resilience of Mediterranean cities against climate change, which is expected to bring more intense and concentrated rainfall.

*Important Information: Closed and comfortable shoes are required. Permission must be requested from the guide to take photos or record videos. Entry is not allowed for children under 8 years old. Not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Those who do not comply with the regulations will not be allowed to access the storage tank.

In case of rain, the activity will be canceled for safety reasons.
