We already gathered interesting site visits thanks to the collaboration of different partners, during the festival you could visit:
- The Flood Resilience Research Initiative at UPC
- The Underground Rainwater retention deposits of the Municipality
- The Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS)
- The cooperative housing to push a sustainable and just housing model in Catalunya
- Nature-based solutions
Do you have a great initiative to showcase? Propose a guided tour and share it with us!
The full program will be available soon.
All site visits and the networking event is public and open to everyone.
Our goal is to enhance understanding of how to adapt and transform our cities; who needs to drive these changes, who needs support, and how it all connects. Networking, learning, and a systemic, critical vision of urban transformation – understanding how changes happen, what synergies exist, and what trade-offs must be considered – are crucial for successful adaptation.
We don’t want the conversations to stop when the festival ends. That’s why URLab Barcelona is launching an online platform to map and explain urban adaptations and transformations.
