Check out the mood of the festival last year
Across two days, Primavera R combines:
Seminar
A paracademic seminar bridging academic knowledge and practice with invited international keynote speakers. The seminar focuses on urban climate governance, energy transitions, and the challenges of implementing climate action in complex urban contexts.
Site visits
A series of site visits functioning as an open house of urban resilience. Local initiatives across Barcelona open their doors to share projects or work related to climate action and resilience building across the different scales of neighbourhoods, buildings, public spaces, social infrastructure or community initiatives.
Networking event
A public networking event that brings participants together in an informal setting, combining a semi-structured exchange with food and music. The evening offers a space to reflect, connect, and explore possibilities for future collaboration.
Primavera R is open to practitioners, researchers, policymakers, students, community actors, and the general public engaged or interested in questions of climate resilience and urban transformation. The festival aims to strengthen relationships, visibility, and shared understanding within Barcelona’s resilience ecosystem.
